KANSAS CITY - Westbound Route 69, Northeast Vivion Road is closed between Park Ave. and Brooklyn Ave. due to a water main break. Traffic on westbound Route 69 is being diverted onto eastbound lanes using the Park Ave. and Brooklyn Ave. intersections, placing traffic into a head-to-head configuration. Motorists are urged to drive carefully through the area.

Kansas City Water Department crews are repairing the water line. The road will remain closed to traffic until the pavement can be restored. The closure is expected to last through the end of next week, June 1.
